FRESH ARTICHOKES LINE

Description

The line for processing fresh-cut artichokes is generally made up of:

  • Machine for cutting the stem and tip of artichokes, complete with water and citric acid preparation system to be delivered directly to the cutting points of the product;
  • Product feeding elevator to the cutter;
  • Motorized belt for checking and sorting the product and packaging the trays (1st level) and for transporting them to the filming machine (2nd level);
  • Conveyor belt that collects processing waste from both the cutter and the sorting belt;
  • Gooseneck elevator that conveys processing waste outside the factory directly onto a truck or more simply into a container inside the factory for handling with a pallet truck.
